Are UIs any help towards gaming?

Well the UIs im talking about are the actual addons that change your entire interface ex. changes the osition of your mini map to the bottom middle of the screen compresses the bars into a box and etc.


Are they worth it? compressing bars into a box looks better but is it more efficient for pvp/pve? I tried dling phozzak's UI in BC but it just made a mess.

I seen like other player's videos of their UI and it looked like they have much more room than the usual interface.

yes, UIs help, they help in pvp and pve
ive always used xperls for unitframes, cant survive without it, honestly
pvp addons allow quicker uses of spells without having to make many macros
pve addons allow notifications (such as cd timer) to boost that dps or save a tank from dying

but then again, real men dont use UIs

Well, when I can make my screen look like this, I'd say it is worth it.

I don't get addons because they look nice, they have to help me somehow or make my "job" easier. Most of my healing addons compress health bars to see and heal everyone in the raid or make my screen less cluttered.

Wow, vasuki that's a sick screen pic, rofls. But, depending on your computer UI's also matter. For instance, like a computer of mine that blew major failage, UI's were problems, but now that i have a nice computer, start uploading some good UIs so i can pewpew too!

whats a UI? i stick with the blizzard standard -_- gogo shitty comp
